With a rich professional journey spanning almost two decades, I have dedicated myself to empowering businesses by facilitating their access to the most suitable and efficient technologies. My expertise lies in weaving together diverse software and components to create a unified, effective solution.

My career path has been diverse and enriching, with a decade-long tenure as a System Administrator, followed by four years as an Operations Manager. I then stepped into the role of a Chief Technology Officer for two years, which was succeeded by a two-year stint in Business Development. Currently, I am thriving in my role as a Solution Architect for the past four years, where I specialize in providing consultancy in the areas of storage and cloud.

Work Experience

Solutions Architect
LINBIT / October 2019 – Present

LINBIT is the only company that has been developing and supporting Linux HA technologies since its inception. They are providing worldwide support for users covering Linux High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Software-Defined Storage solutions.

In this company, I play a key role in helping customers reach the right solution. By establishing a bond between developers and customers, I support the company in determining the direction of development. With my customer-first solution-oriented approach, I have played an important role in the conclusion of many 5, 6 digit agreements so far.

Technical Oversight Committee Board Member
Soda Foundation / 2019 – Present

SODA Foundation is an open source project under Linux Foundation that aims to foster an ecosystem of open source data management and storage software for data autonomy. The Technical Oversight Committee (TOC) is the primary decision making forum for SODA projects and serves to set the overall technical direction and strategy for SODA. I’m working as a TOC member in SODA to create best data autonomy platform for Open Source Community & Enterprises from all around the world. link

Cloud Operations Manager & Business Development
BulutBroker / 2018 – 2020

BulutBroker is Turkey’s first Storage as a Service, Backup & Disaster Recovery as a Service company.
As a Cloud Operations Manager, i was responsible for petabytes of data inside Object Storage, Block Storage, and File Storage. BaaS and DRaaS is another area that i was responsible of. Apart from these, i also did business development from start to end for each line of work inside BulutBroker.

Technical Lead & Operations Manager
INGRAM MICRO & SOFTCOM TURKEY / 2009 – 2019

I worked in different positions for Softcom Turkey a company owned by INGRAM MICRO.  Started as a System Administrator and left the company as Operations Manager. Softcom Turkey was a hosting service provider and  i had full responsibility to make sure all systems in the infrastructure are up and running 7&24&365. This is where i learned most of my knowledge about Virtualization, Storage systems, Networking equipment etc. I also supported global Ingram Micro Cloud operations starting from 2014.

System Administrator – Co Founder

TARM HOSTING / June 2007 – January 2010

Tarmhost was my first enterprise in field. While Softcom Canada localized in Turkey, they bought my company. Before that, i managed to have 300+ valued hosting customers without any professional help.
At the early 2010 we terminate the company and migrate all customers in to daha.net.
